Learn a New Skill in 30 Days

A real curriculum with a task for every day, the 3 points where people quit, and a day-30 test.

A saved-posts folder is not a curriculum.

You've been meaning to learn it for a year. You've saved 40 videos about it. You've watched maybe 6, and you can't do the thing.

Saving is collecting. Collecting feels like progress and produces none. What's missing isn't motivation, it's a sequence: someone telling you what to do on day 3 so you don't have to work it out at 8pm.

I've done this for Excel formulas and for drumming rudiments. The one with a day-by-day plan is the one I finished.

The prompts

1. Start here

Builds the sequence, sized to the time you actually have.

The 30-day curriculum prompt
I want to learn [skill] in 30 days at 45 minutes a day. Ask me what I already know and what I want to be able to do at the end, then build the curriculum with one specific task per day.

2. Go deeper

Plans for the days you'll want to stop.

The quit-points prompt
Tell me the 3 points in these 30 days where most people quit, why it happens there, and exactly what to do at each one.

3. Bonus

Proof you learned it, not proof you watched it.

The day-30 test prompt
Design the day-30 test: something I make, build or perform that proves I can actually do this, and tell me what "passed" looks like.

Bonus: Make it yours

Say how you learn best (reading, watching, or breaking things) and the plan reshapes around it.

Do this today: do day 1. Not the research. Day 1 is 45 minutes and it's already written for you.
